Where do I start to learn web design?
The Web has been long time now, and it's believed to still for along time, not only that but also expands and doesn't stop growing. Web helps us in communication and commerce, so it's very useful to learn web and web design, you can also work as a wen designer and start freelancing.
What language do I need to learn?
HTML, CSS, Javascript and server-side programming, are nessessary to learn web design and to be a good web designer, lets take a look at every technology of them.
1- Hyper Text Markup Language (HTML):
is the language used to create web document and put the conetnt on the page, there are various versions of HTML, the recent one is HTML5. it's good for you to know that every browser supports specific versions of HTML especially the older ones.
HTML is not a real programing language; it's a markup language which means that it's used to describe the components of your web page and tell the browser what type of content is to be displayed. and it's very easy to learn.
the best way to learn HTML is to write some web pages by your hand and you will be more comfortable to use it as you will learn when you read next posts.
2- Cascading Style Sheet (CSS):
you know that HTML is used to desctibe the content, CSS is used to tell the browser how the content should look, CSS controls fonts, backgrounds, colors, images, line spacing, page layout and so on, there are also earlier versions of CSS that control animation and many other special effects.
it also controls how your web site will be displayed on various monitors such as mobile and tablet, it's a great tool to make your web site beautiful and shiny.
3- Javascriot/DOM scripting:
Javascript is a scripting language that add the functionality and interactivity to your website such as checking entries, swaping out styles for an element or the entire web page, making the browser remember information about the user for next times, and building widgets ,etc.
